From September 18 to 20, 2020, Geneviéve led M.I.A.’s first conference with Eunice Steppe, Andrea Kirley, and Terri Hagmann, where they discussed finding joy and peace despite being in a pandemic. 

 

From January 10 to 11, 2020, Geneviéve joined other thought leaders for a conference hosted by Measure on community policing and smart technology.

On November 6, 2019, during a panel hosted by MEChA de Palomar College and Transitions Collective of Palomar College, Geneviéve discussed mass incarceration, police brutality, the prison industrial complex, and the school to prison pipeline.

On November 2, 2019, Geneviéve spoke to the Coronado Democratic Club, and discussed how the community can work to reform our justice system.

On October 26, 2019, at a special panel discussion hosted by The Davis Vanguard, Geneviéve Jones-Wright and others discussed reforming criminal prosecution through such efforts as decarceration, ending cash bail, true conviction review policies, ending the death penalty, and much more.

On August 31st, 2019 Geneviéve led a community hike up Cowles Mountain – San Diego’s highest point!
